Presenting Symptoms: Chronic Migraines, Knee Pain, Back Pain

 "I do not have a headache!!!! This is a milestone for someone who has been suffering with migraines for over 40 years. I started acupuncture with Margaret Amireh from Balanced Body in Cedar Grove about 15 months ago. I had been taking OTC medication for headaches daily - about 5 or more tablets! Since coming for acupuncture, I have had no more than perhaps 5 headaches that required taking any medication!! That is awesome! I also experience a lot of back pain. Margaret can detect my knots and tension in my back and has only been treating this a short time with wonderful results!  There is no pain when I stand or bend over. Margaret also treats me for knee pain with great results. I no longer dread going up steps. Another wonderful advantage of acupuncture is treating wrinkles! I know - it’s crazy but acupuncture can treat skin imperfections! I’ve noticed a tremendous change in lines around my mouth and forehead. They are actually being filled in from inside by acupuncture which is generating an increase in collagen production thereby filling in these lines. I only wish I had a “before” picture to show the remarkable results. Kiddingly, I had asked Margaret if she could do something about the “crevice” (a big wrinkle) near my mouth. A few months later and the difference is so noticeable that my friends are actually noticing the difference. Who would have thought that acupuncture would help me in so many very different ways? I’m so glad to have been lucky enough to find Margaret who never makes me feel like I’m asking for miracles! She just seems to know exactly where I need treatment and she follows through. I am now a firm believer in the amazing benefits of acupuncture with the right acupuncturist - Margaret Amireh!"

"There are no words to express how grateful I am for the help Margaret has given me. When I first started Acupuncture treatments with Margaret in January 2013, I had been covered in psoriasis from head to toe for 8 years. I had also developed pain and joint damage from Psoriatic Arthritis. I have been under the care of a leading dermatologist for these 8 years and have taken many medications, including biologics. Nothing helped me.

"I was very discouraged about my arthritic knee when I came to Margaret in February 2013. I have been told by two orthopedists that I needed a new knee and had a torn meniscus. They both told me that as I was too young for a knee replacement, I'd have to hang in there until I was in my 60s. I had stabbing pains in my knee 24/7. I didn't know how I could continue on like that.
